Bitter Orange - Perfumed Burning Sticks (40 sticks)
Bitter Orange was the fragrance of Agraria's very first product in 1970 – a handmade potpourri. This signature fragrance is a complex and subtle blend that permeates the air with addictive waves of clove, the zest of bitter orange and just a touch of cypress. It’s unique, spicy fragrance has been described by The New York Times as “uplifting, mysterious and androgynous in its appeal.”
Agraria was introduced in New York in 1975, at the front door of the original Henri Bendel’s at 10 West 57th, and each time someone opened the door, the fragrance floated out onto the sidewalk. Vogue Magazine quoted Michael Kors as saying, “I just thought 57th Street smelled like Bitter Orange.”
With a fragrance load of 50%, Agraria's incense is so luxurious they are labeled Perfumed Burning Sticks.
If you don’t have a holder, we suggest sticking them in a potted plant and don’t worry where the ash falls.
They also can be used outside as a fragrant way to greet guests as they come through the garden gate.
